Sweet Memories of 2016
Reflecting back on 2016, I can't hide my appreciation for the wonderful year we had at Toffee Break Desserts. Our team is very grateful for another year of sweet memories...We prepared countless holiday gifts, personalized party trays, decadent sweet tables and catered many fun Chicago corporate events!
Building relationships with some of Chicago’s top property management companies has been exciting and rewarding. These management companies truly care about their tenants and love to show their appreciation throughout the year in the form of delicious treats!

Fall Harvest
Participating for the last 8 years, we have created a tradition as everyone waits excitedly for the Toffee Break hot apple cider which accompanies our decadent caramel apples. Flavors include the classic caramel apple covered with peanuts and the milk chocolate apple decorated with autumn leaves sprinkles. Participating in the Fall Harvest event every year brings us great joy!
211 Wacker
Ameritus’ vision was an elegant weekday party. This event showcased our talent to dress up the tables with beautiful linens and centerpieces, which were then covered with an array of dazzling desserts.
Civic Opera House
December brought us back to our 4th consecutive year at the Civic Opera House which was a bountiful holiday sweet table covered with whimsical winter decorations. Desserts included: colorful miniature pastries, chocolate covered grapes, eclairs, chocolate covered strawberries and more! 
The picture on the right gives you a sneak peak of our sweet table staging before the treats were devoured. Providing decadent desserts for the corporate climate allows Toffee Break to connect Property Management to their tenants on a personal level. Smiles appear on tenants faces when they receive fun holiday treats.
What a year...
Toffee Break joined the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce and increased our community involvement. Looking back, I was truly honored and overjoyed when my best friend Maria’s son, Peter and his now wife, Stephanie, asked us to be part of their wedding day. We pulled out all of the stops when we unveiled our magnificent sweet table celebrating the happy couple. Maria and I met over 15 years ago when our boys played hockey and we've been great friends ever since!
